Delete your account

In the app

Open TaproGuide → You → Delete my account → confirm. Deletion happens immediately; there is no email round-trip and nothing to wait for.

By email

If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, email address and sign-in credentials
• Every trip you own, including days, stops, notes and costs
• Your membership of trips other people own

What we keep, and for how long

Trips owned by other people stay with them. Your account and everything you own is removed from our live database immediately; residual copies may persist in our host's encrypted backups for a short period before those backups age out. There is nothing to buy in TaproGuide, so there are no payment or billing records to keep.

This can't be undone. There is no export yet, so if you want to keep an itinerary, take screenshots or open it in Google Maps before you delete it.
